Lucknow News: Bakshi’s pond of Lucknow was stirred up in the police station area when a rotten body of an unknown youth was recovered on Saturday on the service lane of the Kisan Path. The body was lying near the boundary wall of the Air Force Shooting Range, which the passers -by saw on Saturday evening when they came to bad smell and informed the police. The age of the deceased is said to be around 40 years. He had blue jeans and blue shirt on his body. As soon as the information was received, the BKT police station reached the spot and the forensic team was called. Investigation revealed that the body seems to be two days old. According to Inspector BKT, efforts are being made to identify the body and post -mortem is being done to find out the reason behind the death.
Dead body found near Air Force Shooting Range
At around 5 pm on Saturday evening, an unknown body was found lying hundred meters from Indora Bagh Chowki located on the service lane of Kisan Path. The place is near the boundary wall of the Air Force Shooting Range. Local people started getting strong odor from there, due to which they suspected the body and immediately informed the police.
The identity of the deceased is still incomplete, trying to get clues from clothes
The age of the body is said to be around 40 years. The deceased was wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. Police is trying to get any document or identity card from the body’s pocket and the surrounding area. Samples have been collected by calling the forensic team on the spot.
Inspector BKT said- The body looks two days old
BKT police station in -charge said that according to preliminary investigation, the body appears to be about two days old. Passengers felt bad smell and informed the police. The condition of the body was quite bad and it turned upside down on the ground. The possibility of murder behind the death cannot be denied, although clarity will be revealed only after the post -mortem report.
Murder or accident? Police engaged in investigation
At present, it is not clear whether the young man died in the accident or someone intentionally killed him and threw the body in a secluded place. The police are searching for the nearby CCTV footage and interrogation has been started in the area. The body has been taken into possession and sent for postmortem. The police is now preparing the poster along with sending information to the police stations to identify the body, so that a relative or acquaintance can come forward. Local people have also not recognized the dead body.
