Barabanki News: A painful accident occurred in the Avasaneshwar temple in Haidergarh tehsil of Barabanki district of UP. Around three o’clock in the morning, the electric wire broke at the main gate of the temple and the current spread. Due to the grip of the wire, the current shed and pipes for the protection of the devotees came down, killing two devotees. Around 35 people have been injured in this incident. The injured were admitted to Trivediganj and Hydergarh CHC Hospitals for treatment, while two seriously injured persons were referred to the district hospital. After the incident, there was a stampede and DM and DSP reached the spot to handle the situation.

Two devotees died due to stampede and current

The reason behind the accident is being told that a monkey broke the wire due to jumping on the electric wire. As soon as this wire fell, the current shed and pipe at the main gate of the temple came down, due to which the devotees present there were hit by the current. There was a stampede as soon as the information was received about this accident, which made the situation more stressful. However, after the activism of the administration, the normal situation in the temple was restored and the devotees stood in queues and worshiped. One of the dead has been identified as Prashant son Ram Gopal, resident Mubarakpur, while the other is being identified.

Floral rainfall program canceled from helicopter

The accident occurred especially on Monday of Sawan, when more devotees arrived in the temple. After the accident, District Magistrate Shashank Tripathi said that the treatment of the injured is going on and the administration is fully monitored on this tragic incident. Actually, this morning there was a program of flowering from helicopter at this pilgrimage site, but it was canceled after the accident.
