Rudra and Bhairav Brigade Join Indian Army: On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Day, Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi made several big announcements about the new strategy and future preparations of the Indian Army in a program organized in Dras. He informed about the modernization of the army and the formation of two new brigade-Rudra and Bhairav. This will increase India’s strength and will prove to be a time for the enemies.
What is Rudra Brigade?
The Rudra Brigade is being called the first all-armed brigade of the Indian Army. Till now the army’s brigade was based on a special weapon or unit, but the Rudra brigade will include all units such as infantry, tanks, artillery, drones and special commandos.
According to General Dwivedi, this brigade will be fully capable of war in every region and situation. It will also be linked to special logistics support and state -of -the -art communication system.
Bhairav Brigade: Sudden attacking unit on enemies
The Bhairav Brigade is being designed as a fast and deadly attack unit. This brigade will act like special forces and will be able to perform operations especially in forests and hilly areas.
This brigade will be given small but highly deadly weapons, which will suddenly demolish the enemy’s hideouts and supply chain. General Dwivedi called it a “Light Commando Battalion” and said that it would be a shocking force to the enemies.
Indian Army is getting equipped with technology
General Dwivedi further said that the army is being further strengthened technically. Now drone platoon will be deployed in every walking military unit, which will monitor every action of the enemy. Apart from this, Divyastra batteries will make an accurate attack from long distance, Lautar Municipalization will hover up directly and attack the enemy directly and the indigenous air defense system is further strengthening air security.
Terrorists will not get relief now
India’s attitude on terrorism since Pahalgam terror attack is clear- zero tolerance. In such a situation, General Dwivedi, while giving a clear message to Pakistan, said, “Those who have sheltered terrorism will no longer escape.” He said that India’s army now responds with resolution, not just mourning. India’s air security is so strong today that no drone or missile can cross it.
