Etah News: The court gave a big verdict after 17 years in a sensational murder in 2008 in Jalesar in Etah district. The Additional Sessions Judge sentenced two brothers – Rinku alias Shilendra and Pintu alias Shailendra, sons Shishupala Singh – to life imprisonment. Both have also been fined 30-30 thousand rupees. The court has also ordered a compensation of Rs 50,000 as compensation to the victim party, which has given some relief to the families of the deceased.
The case is related to the murder of Lokendra alias Sonu (21), who came to attend a wedding ceremony in Jalesar in November 2008, but did not return home after that. A few days later his body was found lying under the culvert, causing a stir in the area. The deceased’s father Rampal had filed a murder case against Devraj Singh, Satish Pal and Kubera Singh.
During the police investigation, Rinku and Pintu’s names appeared in 2010. Investigation revealed that the deceased Lokendra, both of them had a bright brother and borrowed some money from them, which he was not returning. The two brothers conspired to kill Lokendra with regard to the transaction of this money. Not only this, he wrote Tahrir himself and also became a witness with the intention of trapping other people, causing the matter to be further entangled.
Justice was finally found on the basis of long hearing and evidence
In the year 2019, the police filed a charge sheet, after which the matter went to the court. According to government lawyer Nishant Pathak, justice has finally been received based on long hearing and evidence of years. The family of the deceased is satisfied on getting justice with this decision, while the matter has come up as an important example of patience and fairness in the judicial process, which shows that the process of law is slow, but justice is found.
