In order to curb criminal cases in Etawah, on the orders of Senior Superintendent of Police Brijesh Kumar Srivastava, there is a continuous campaign against criminals in the district. The car driver tried to escape towards Chaupala with a car, on which the police station was informed Chaubia from the telephone and the police was called on behalf of Chaupala.
Seeing the car driver surrounded by both sides, the car stopped at the bend and started firing with the intention of killing the police team. The police team fired in self -defense, in which a bullet hit the left leg of the accused Neeraj (son Jawahar). He was arrested in an injured state.
Goods recovered from the possession of the accused
In interrogation and search of the arrested accused, one pistol, three kiosks and two live cartridges (315 bore) were recovered from his possession. A total of six goats were also found from inside the car. During interrogation, the accused said that one of these goats has stolen from village Nagla Babu Harnarayan at night, while the rest of the goats have been stolen from various places in the district. The investigation found that the case of the theft of goat from a white car by unknown thieves on the basis of Tahrir of Nagla Babu Harnarayan, resident of Nagla Babu Harnarayan, resident of Badan Singh, Vadi Omprakash son Badan Singh, was registered under Basrehar, a case number 60/2025, Section 303 (2) BNS.

The crook Neeraj, who hails from Durganagar police station Tirva, district Kannauj, is shot in the leg during the encounter.
