Flood situation in many parts due to torrential rains in UP, rivers in Bundelkhand

Kanpur. Many districts of Eastern UP have been wreaking havoc in Bundelkhand for three days in many districts. Many tributaries, including Yamuna, Ken-Betwa and Chambal, have been erupted. The contact of more than 50 villages has been cut from the main road. There has been a situation of migration from villages. Jhansi has filled the Sizzar Dam more than the capacity. Water is being extracted by opening both gates. The contact routes of about 30 villages are submerged in water. Traffic is completely stalled. The Chandrawal river in Hamirpur is wreaking havoc. The contact with about 20 villages has been cut.

Life has come to a complete standstill due to water entering three villages. The situation has become even more rare due to the closure of the Yamuna bridge for 48 hours. Due to the filling of water on the connectivity routes, the visitors are facing huge problems. Almost all the dams of Mahoba are in spate. On Saturday, Minister of State for Water Shakti Ramkesh Nishad inspected the Urmil Dam and reviewed the flood conditions. The coastal areas have been alerted due to the rise in the water level of Yamuna with Ken-Betwa in Banda. Kane’s water entered the villages in the Palani region. About 25 villages were affected by this. There has been a migration situation from 10 villages. Traffic is completely stalled due to drowning in four reported water.

Ganga moved towards the warning point, tributaries also erupted
Its tributaries are also in spate due to the continuous increase in the water level of the Ganges in Varanasi. Varuna, Gomti and Nad rivers are in the grip of floods in the villages and neighborhoods of their coastal areas. On the other hand, according to the Central Water Commission, if the Ganga increases 24 hours more, it will cross the warning point on Rajghat gauge. There was an increase of one cm per hour in the Ganges.

Water climbed on Shailputri Marg
Varuna is rapidly spreading towards the population due to the flow of Ganga. On Saturday, the water of the Varuna river in Saraiya has climbed the Shailputri road. More than three hundred houses have been affected by this.

Water entered many villages of Lohta region
The water of Varuna has now started entering coastal villages. Pani Bharthara (Mathurapura), Bedauli, Chitouni, Korout, Veer Singh Pur etc. have started spreading in the Terai areas of villages. This has submerged maize, moong, ud, millet, pigeonpea, greens.

Gomti, also fear in the banks of Nad River
In the Chaubepur region, many villages including Gaurapurwar, Muridpur, Sarsaul, Chandravati, Dhakwa, Kathy, Rajwadi, Laxmisenpur, Tekuri, Dhaurahra, Saraiya, Pipri, Shivdasha, have started fearing floods. The villages are surrounded by water. Flood water has come on the bridge from Dhaurahra to Pipri village.
