Gonda news: There is a lot of resentment among the local residents due to incomplete construction of under construction on Belsar Road of Paraspur Nagar Panchayat in Gonda district of UP. Due to the negligence of the executive body and the apathy of the administration, not only the problem of jam is increasing, but there is also a possibility of serious accidents. Construction work has come to a complete standstill for about a month, causing deep pits and open bars, shopkeepers and locals lying on the roadside.

Belsar Road, which is a major route to Paraspur, is continuously increasing traffic pressure due to incomplete construction. The situation of jam remains throughout the day, which has made it difficult for people. On the working style of the executive body, the proverb of ‘New Day two and a half kos’ is being done. The construction work is not only wasting time due to repeated stoppage, but the problems of the public are also increasing. Serious questions are also being raised about the quality of construction. Heavy irregularities have been observed in the thickness of the drain walls. Somewhere the wall is four inches thick, then only one and a half to two inches, which is in a position to crack and bent without any load. This is a clear indication of compromising with heavy flaws and quality in construction.

Local people say that such negligence is not only a waste of money, but also playing with public security. In this case, when the in-charge Executive Officer Anurag Shukla was approached, he did not give any concrete reply, which revealed the administration’s apathy and irresponsible attitude. The townspeople have demanded from the Nagar Panchayat administration that the standards of drain construction should be investigated thoroughly and the work should be completed immediately. People have warned that if action is not taken soon, they will be forced to protest. The negligence of the administration and irregularities in construction has broken the patience of the public, and now they want a permanent solution to this problem so that the jam and accidents can be relieved.
