Gonda news: Sandeep Kumar Singh, a resident of village Kamalpur of Katra Bazar police station area of the district, has sensationally accused Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh Uttar Pradesh State Minister Pradeep Rai of illegal recovery of one lakh rupees in the name of getting a job in Majapur sugar mill. Sandeep has sent an application to the Mandalayukta Devipatan Mandal Gonda and the Labor Minister, the Uttar Pradesh government and pleaded for justice.
The victim Sandeep says that on 12 April 2025, Pradeep Rai took one lakh rupees from him in the name of getting a job in the Majapur sugar mill, which he had sold by selling his land. But even after four months, neither the job nor the money was returned. When Sandeep asked for the money back, Pradeep Rai abused him and his uncle gang Baksh Singh and threatened to kill him. Pradeep Rai also threatened that he has access to MPs and MLAs and if he asked for money again, he will send the whole family to jail after implicating it in a false case.
Recovery of money in the name of job from unemployed youth
On the basis of his investigation, Sandeep also told that Pradeep Rai and some of his companions have been recovering money in the name of jobs from poor and unemployed youth for a long time. Sandeep claimed that earlier also a case has been filed against Pradeep Rai by a youth named Amraprakash Tiwari in Katra Bazar police station.
In view of the seriousness of the case, the victim has also demanded to register an FIR on the Chief Minister’s portal. It remains to be seen what concrete steps the administration takes in this matter and whether strict legal action is taken against the culprits, so that no other unemployed youth are victims of cheating in the future.
