Gonda news: A huge painful accident has come to light on Sunday in Ahet village of Dehras in Paraspur police station area under Gonda district of UP. Three of the four children who went to bathe in a pit made of soil excavated died due to drowning. The dead include two cousins and a neighbor child. The villagers and the police together took out the bodies of the three after an hour of hard work. The death of three children simultaneously has mourned in the village and there is chaos in the family.
According to the information received, on Sunday afternoon, 10 -year -old Raj of the village, his cousin Rajan and 9 -year -old Rajbabu Nigam went to bathe in a nearby pit with their friend Akash. During the bath, Raj, Rajan and Rajbabu drowned in depth. Akash somehow escaped and informed the family.
The villagers and the police together took out the bodies of the three children after an hour of hard work. In which Raj and Rajan were cousins among themselves and students of class 5 were in the primary school in the village. Both were the youngest in their respective families. Rajan’s father died of illness four years ago. At the same time, Rajbabu was a student of class 4 and he was also the youngest of four brothers. His father also died five years ago. Villagers said that after the soil was removed from the vacant land near the village, there was a deep pit, in which the canal was flooded two days ago.
The local administration did not put any fence or warning sign for the safety of children. Three innocent people lost their lives due to this negligence of the administration. This sad accident is raising serious questions on the local administration. The villagers have alleged that if security arrangements were made around the pit, then this painful accident would not have happened. The villagers have demanded legal action against the culprits and compensation against the culprits by conducting an inquiry from the high administration.
