Gorakhpur news: After taking up the matter of not taking admission in the Right to Education Act (RTE) by the innocent of Moradabad during the Janata Darshan in Lucknow, it entered three hours on the instructions of the CM. But 1451 children in Gorakhpur, the Chief Minister’s home district, are still waiting for admission in RTE. Parents are traveling from school to BSA office for admission to these schools with influential enthusiasts.
Despite the warning of the responsibilities, only 69 percent seats have been entered in Gorakhpur against the seats available under RTE. In the last May, a letter of strict warning to the school management was also sent by the district administration to cancel the recognition for not admission of poor children. But it did not affect the school management. Actually, the admission process in RTE is completed in four stages.
The first phase is from December 1 to 19, the second January 19 to January 19, the third from February 1 to February 19 and the fourth from March 1 to March 19. Children are to enter 4737 seats under RTE in Gorakhpur. But so far only 3286 seats have been entered. BSA Ramendra Kumar Singh says that the admission process will be completed on the opening of the school in July. Strict action will be taken against the schools who are reluctant to enter.
Civil lines schools are most arbitrary
Under RTE, small schools take admission, but the well -known schools refrain from taking admission. In fact, the fee that the administration pays for children getting admission under RTE is much less than the routine fee of schools. In such a situation, school management makes lakhs of excuses for admission. Not only this, even if you take admission, then children are treated with secondary status.
Amit was running for three months
After meeting the Chief Minister, the daughter of Amit Kumar, a resident of Ramganga Vihar in Moradabad, got admitted to the Alatt School. He runs a rapido. Amit, who made his daughters Wachi and Achi full mind to give better education to Achi, was trying hard to enroll the elder daughter Vachi under RTE at CL Gupta World School. Was upset for the last three months. Sometimes he used to go round the BSA office, sometimes he would go to school and plead for admission of his daughter. Seeing that he did not hear, he reached the Chief Minister.
