Haapur News: Meerut Range Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Kalanidhi Naithani visited Hapur at Hapur on Saturday. He interacted directly with 197 recruitment constables (constables) receiving training there and took intensive information about various aspects of their routine, training system, police station management and law and order. The DIG gave a clear message to the constables that the police job is not only to wear uniforms, but is the responsibility of the dedicated service to the public.
DIG Naithani first inspected the mess (restaurant) of the training center and tested the quality of the food. After this, he went to the barracks and reviewed the status of cleanliness and basic facilities and instructed the concerned officials to maintain all the arrangements.
Important mantra of “public service”
During the seminar, DIG Naithani gave the constables an important mantra of “public service”. He said, “You are the keepers of the law, but more than that you are posted in the service of the public. Policing is not to create fear, but to give protection and trust to the people.” He described discipline, transparency, sensitivity and service sense as the identity of the police.
The DIG also informed the trainees about indoor subjects like Computer Education, Constitution, Justice of Justice of India (BNS) and BNS Assistant Act (BNSS). He highlighted the nuances of FIR, NCR, Beat System, Outpost Management and Police Operations System, as well as explained preventive streams such as sections 170, 126 and 135 of BNSS.

During the training, Rakshi Santosh Kumar, Bobby Kumar and Hemant Pratap, who showed special information and interest during the training, were awarded and honored by the DIG. Describing these constables as “role models”, he encouraged all the trainees to take inspiration from them. DIG Naithani instructed the officials to also make the trainees visit the police station so that they can understand the techniques of ground -level working style, such as filing cases, deliberations, public hearing and public dialogue.
Addressing the constables, the DIG insisted on promoting the spirit of the “police family”. He said, “We are all part of a police family. Staying together in each other’s happiness and sorrow, working with cooperation and goodwill is the soul of this service.” He also talked about the immense possibilities of bringing positive changes in the society. Additional Superintendent of Police Vineet Bhatnagar, CO Pilkhuwa and Police Line Anita Chauhan, and other officers of the training center were also present on the occasion.
