Haapur News: The police administration has taken major action on an illegal liquor network in police station Simbhavali area in Hapur district of UP. Kalanidhi Naithani, DIG of Meerut Range, has taken a tough stance and suspended the outpost incharge and a beat soldier with immediate effect. After this action, there has been a stir in the police department of the district.

In fact, the DIG had received complaints of illegal liquor sale by a person named Dharamvir alias Babli in Rajpur Majra, Gram Panchayat of Simbhavali region. Taking the complaint seriously, DIG Naithani directed SP Hapur to investigate immediately and take action
SWAT team raids, accused arrested*
On July 24, the Swat team of Hapur Police carried out intensive checking operations in the area. Meanwhile, the accused Dharamvir was arrested red -handed with large quantities of illicit liquor. A case number 238/25 has been registered against him in police station Simbhavali. Investigation also revealed that many criminal cases have already been filed against the accused, despite this, he continued to get protection till now.
Strict stand on police negligence
Despite receiving information about selling liquor without fear of the accused, negligence in action was revealed. On this, the DIG suspended Haroda turn post in -charge Sub -Inspector Vinod Kumar and Beat constable Kapil Dev. It is a clear indication that laxity or collusion within the police will not be accepted at any level.
Warning to police of range
Kalanidhi Naithani, DIG of Meerut Range, has directed to carry out a strict campaign against illegal and adulterated liquor. He said that the concerned police officers and employees will be held responsible for any kind of negligence. All the police units of the range have been directed to conduct a regular checking campaign and curb illegal activities.
