Municipal employees are working to drain water by planting pumps in waterlogged areas. Also, the control room has also been activated, where citizens can file their complaints.

There are strong winds with heavy rains in Malappuram district of Kerala. Due to this, incidents of falling trees have come to light in many areas. Several roads have been jammed due to falling trees and traffic has been badly affected. Electric poles were also broken at some places, causing the power supply to come to a standstill. Due to rain, water has entered many houses, causing people to take shelter in safe places.

Power supply has been affected in many areas of Malappuram. Mobile networks have also been disrupted due to continuous rains and winds, making people difficult to contact. Electricity department teams are working on the spot to fix the broken wires and pole. The local administration has started preparations for relief camps so that the affected people can be sent there if needed.
