Haapur News: Every year in the month of Shravan, millions of devotees take Ganga water and go out to offer to Baba Bholenath. This time the Hapur administration turned this emotional and spiritual journey of Shiva devotees into a memorable experience. On Monday, District Magistrate Abhishek Pandey and Superintendent of Police Kunwar Gyanjay Singh welcomed the Kanwari by doing flowers with a helicopter, which was only in imagination.
At 10 in the morning, the helicopter left from Bulandshahr police line, in which DM and SP were riding. He rained roses and marigold flowers on thousands of Shiva devotees on the entire Kandar Marg till Brajghat, Balwapur, Colonel Farm House Marg, Paswara, Alamnagar Shiva Temple, Sherpur and Sulaela. As soon as the flowers started raining, the whole atmosphere began to echo the shouts of “Har-Har Mahadev” and “Bol Bomb”. The devotees became emotional and many of their eyes became moist.
Emotions related initiative
There was not only a reception behind this historical initiative, but also a big message – the governance can be a sensitive organ associated with public sentiments, not just the law and order system.
District Magistrate Abhishek Pandey said after Pushpavarsha –
> “Kavad Yatra is not just a religious ritual, it is a symbol of the faith of crores of devotees. The work of administration is not only to give security, but also to understand and respect these emotions. Pushpavarsha is a symbol of the same emotional relationship.”
SP Kunwar Gyanjay Singh also assured the devotees that the police is completely ready for their safety, convenience and service. He said that the priority of the police force is to ensure the satisfaction and safe journey of the devotees.
Devotees expressed gratitude
Kanwari from different parts of the country thanked the administration for this unique reception. Shiva devotees from various districts like Delhi, Rajasthan, Ghaziabad, Haryana etc. said that they never felt such respect before. Many devotees described it as the most special journey of their life.
Appreciation of arrangements also
Along with Pushpavarsha, arrangements like cleanliness, medical camps, mobile toilets, water distribution, night rest, deployment of security forces were also excellent by the administration. Special care was taken to make any inconvenience to the passengers with the help of LED displays, directive boards and volunteers installed at various places. This initiative has become a new example of faith between the administration and the public. The devotees not only soaked with flowers, but also got filled with emotions. This initiative of Hapur administration can become an inspiration for the whole country in the coming years.
