Addressing the workshop on Hepatitis Awareness Day on Monday, Director Dr. Kavita Arya said that Hepatitis is an infection that can cause serious complications in the body for years without symptoms. It is the responsibility of all the health workers that we can get rid of the disease from the right information, timely investigation and treatment. Dr. Vishnu Kumar, senior physician of the hospital, said that the patient feels tired during hepatitis infection. There is no appetite. Abdominal pain and jaundice begins to persecute. Urine becomes dark. Light fever and vomiting are felt. Some people have no symptoms of hepatitis. Whereas in others, symptoms can range from mild to severe. Dr. Himanshu Chaturvedi, Medical Superintendent of the hospital, said that to prevent hepatitis, get vaccinated on the advice of a doctor.
