The study was done on 182 people with 88% of women. The average age of these women was around 38 years, who used to have 5 to 20 migraines every month. These women were divided into three different groups and according to the diet, different amounts of omega-3 fatty acids were given.

Volunteers were given oil-mankhan and protein food with fish. After this, his migraine frequency was checked every day through an electronic diary. The study saw 1.5 grams of high omega-3 diet in a day, a lack of headache every month. At the same time, women with low omega-6 diet with high omega-3 experienced a low headache for four days a month.

Researchers say that pain can be treated through diet changes. Health experts say that after this study, migraine patients may be advised to take high omega-3 diet. According to Britain’s National Health Service, a healthy and balanced diet should be eaten twice a week.
