India bloc meeting: 24 major parties of opposition parties in India held an online meeting on Saturday. In which its strategy was discussed before the monsoon session of Parliament. The upcoming monsoon session starts from July 21. In this meeting, opposition parties identified some important issues that they want to raise during the Parliament session. These include Major issues such as Pahalgam terrorist attacks, Operation Sindoor, US President Donald Trump’s statement on the ceasefire and Special Intensive Amendment (SIR) in Bihar.
Giving information about the meeting, Congress leader Pramod Tiwari said that the India alliance parties decided that they would seek response from the government on issues like atrocities, population boundaries, and partition on foreign policy, Dalits, tribals and women. He also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should respond in Parliament about Pahalgam terrorist attacks and Operation Sindoor. In addition, repeated comments made by Donald Trump on the ceasefire between India and Pakistan will also be discussed.
Pramod Tiwari said, issues related to the people of the country were discussed in the meeting. Which we will pick up in the monsoon session. With the consent of all parties, eight main issues have been discussed. In which Pahalgam terror attack, Operation Sindu, Trump’s statement on the ceasefire, SIR, foreign policy, demarcation and atrocities on Dalits, tribals, women in Bihar. Apart from this, we will also seek answers on many other important issues including Ahmedabad aircraft accident.
He also said that the meeting was held online in a cordial atmosphere and a physical meeting will be held soon. Opposition parties say that they want Parliament to work properly and the government should answer their questions.
