Last month, byd has sold 500 units in India, about 0.1% of its global sales (3.8 lakh units). Despite the low popularity here, byd’s technology is moving abroad. Its latest models in China offer a range of 500+ kilometers at a five -minute charge. Which is about 50 times faster than many EVs in India.
