Pak threatens india: A few days have passed for the ceasefire between India of India. But now once again, Pakistan is being threatened with breaking ceasefire. In fact, after the Pahalgam attack, India suspended the Indus Water Treaty, now Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar threatened India and said that if India does not find a solution on the water issue as soon as possible, the ceasefire between the two countries will not be able to last long.
According to Pakistani media, Ishaq Dar warned India that if there was no agreement on water sharing, it would be considered as the Act of War. At the same time, he once again said the raga of Kashmir and said that the issue of Kashmir between both countries is the root of this whole struggle.
India pulled back from the treaty after the Pahalgam attack
There has already been a dispute between India and Pakistan over the water sharing of 6 rivers including the Indus River and 6 rivers. But after the Pahalgam attack, India canceled the 1960 Indus Water Treaty. Due to which this issue has once again become a cause of tension between the two countries.
Pakistan’s increased tension
After the cancellation of the treaty, Pakistan fears that India may affect the flow of water by forming dams on the Indus, Chenab and Jhelum rivers. Since Pakistan’s Punjab and Sindh province are completely dependent on the water of the Indus river. In such a situation, Pakistan may suffer serious losses due to India stopping or turning its flow.
