Indian Delegation Go Washington Again Second Round Talks With America

Desk. A team from the Indian Commerce Ministry will soon visit Washington for another round of talks with the US for the proposed trade agreement. A government official gave this information on Thursday. The official said that during this visit, there will be interaction on both interim and first phase of bilateral trade agreement. Travel dates are not yet decided. However, sources say the party is expected to visit Washington next week.

The Indian contingent led by India led by the chief negotiator Rajesh Aggarwal returned from Washington earlier this month. This journey is important as the US has postponed additional tariffs till 1 August. Special Secretary in the Department of Commerce, Rajesh Aggarwal said on Thursday that India is trying to negotiate and finalize the trade agreement with the US.
