In Shillong, Honeymoon in Shillong went to celebrate and the body of husband Raja Raghuvanshi was recovered from a deep ditch on Sunday, while his wife Sonam has not found any clue from the couple from Indore. The king’s body was found in a ditch about one hundred and fifty feet deep, which was rotten and faster was smelling. The body was taken out with the help of ropes and kept in the Morchuri of the government hospital in Shillong. The post -mortem of the body will be done on Tuesday.
His mobile phone, purse, gold chain and ring have not been found from the king’s body, just a smart watch has been found. Family members say that when they left from Indore, the king wore all these things. Family members believe that it indicates a conspiracy or incident, beyond a normal accident. However, the police have not yet concluded the matter and the investigation is on.
Raja and Sonam’s bags met at their homestay. Nothing of mobile and jewelery was found even after searching the bags. This whole case has raised many questions, the biggest question is that if it was an accident then where is Sonam. Had she been safe, she would have come forward by now or contacted someone. No information has been revealed about them even in the interrogation of the local people.
The special thing is that the area where the king’s body has been found has already been a part of the search operation. Despite this, the dead body is not deepening for so many days. At the same time, the king’s scooty is found from a different place, the distance of which is more than 25 kilometers from the place of body. This distance also raises many questions.
The weather was bad on Monday and there was a dense fog in the area, due to which the search for Sonam had to be stopped. Now on Tuesday morning, the search operation will be started again around the same ditch, from where the king’s body was found. Here, Raja’s brother Vipin Raghuvanshi said that he is relying on the police investigation, but till now the absence of mobile, purse and jewels makes the incident suspicious. He said that if this accident happened, these things of the king should have been found around, but nothing has been recovered so far.
The entire incident started from 20 May, when Raja and Sonam left for Guwahati from Indore. On May 23, he visited the temple and then reached Shillong. In the afternoon, he spoke to the family, but after that his mobile was closed. On 24 and 25 May, the family continued to call, but no response was received. It was later revealed that the vehicle rented was found in unclaimed condition.
On May 26, Raja and Sonam’s family reached Shillong and the information about the disappearance of both came to the media. On May 27, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav posted on social media and said that he has contacted the Meghalaya government and instructed senior officials of the state to maintain sustainable contact in this matter. He also prayed for a safe return of Raja and Sonam.
On the same day, the search operation was intensified and the bags of both were found in their homestay. On May 28, the search operation was further expanded with the help of drones and investigative dogs. MP Shankar Lalwani also reached Shillong and met local authorities.
The search operation was interrupted due to continuous rains on 29 and 30 May. The police kept watching the entire case as an accident till now. On 30th and 31 May, there was a search around the scooty place, but no clue was found from there either. On June 1, a search operation was carried out amidst dense fog, but nothing was found.
Finally, on June 2, the king’s body was found in the ditch in the afternoon, which was rotten. The dead body has been found by dogs. However, Sonam still does not know anything. The incident has shocked not only the family, but also the people of Indore. Now everyone’s eyes are on police investigation and search of Sonam. The family wants the whole matter to be investigated in a fair and depth so that the truth can be revealed.
