Innovative Farmer from Maharajganj: IT Engineer Builds Brand with Natural Farming | Mahrajganj News: आईटी इंजीनियर बना इनोवेटिव किसान, लीज़ पर खेती कर गांव में खड़ा किया अपना ब्रांड, अब 200+ ग्राहक

Mahrajganj news: The real story of success is sometimes born from the soil of the village, not from the dazzle of cities. Navratna Tiwari, a resident of Siswa Nagar in Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh, has set a live example of this. Leaving the IT sector job, he has made farming his passion and business.

New direction given to traditional farming.

Navratna Tiwari started the cultivation of crops by taking land on lease, which usually occur in mountainous or coastal areas – such as small cardamom, paan leaf, cashew, apple, coconut, seasonal, parsley, aster mushrooms and sharp leaves. Along with this, he also grown major crops like drumstick and garlic. Adopting natural farming and local marketing models, he chose a new path by moving away from the traditional structure of farming.

By forming a local group on WhatsApp, directly connected to consumers.

Initially, Navratna won the trust of the people by distributing vegetables for free in the village. He then added a WhatsApp group to join the village and surrounding people and started dialogue with consumers directly. Today the situation is that without any middleman or cold storage, they are delivering fresh vegetables and fruits to more than 200 customers every day.

Scientific analysis of soil and weather

Navratna himself studied the soil and climate of Maharajganj. He understood that the conditions here are also favorable for crops like apple and cashew. He did the trial plantation, and today these crops are being produced in their fields.

Inspiration for farmers across the district became inspiration

Navratna Tiwari has become a role model for farmers across the district today. Dozens of farmers have visited their farm and many are now planning to adopt their models. Navratna is also going to start camps to provide technical training to farmers soon. And he told that “should do what is different in farming. Change thinking and technology, the ground will speak itself – I am ready.”
