Investigation Ihmedabad Plane Crash Intensifies Aaib Submits Preliminary Report Civil Aviation Ministry

New Delhi. The investigation of the Air India (Air India) aircraft accident in Ahmedabad (Ahmedabad) on June 12 has intensified. The team of the Air Accident Investigation Bureau, which is investigating the accident, has submitted its preliminary report to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the officials concerned. Sources said that the report prepared on the AI ​​171 aircraft accident is based on the initial conclusions of the investigation.

The investigation into the Ahmedabad aircraft accident has been handed over to the Bureau of Aircraft Accident Investigation. AAIB has formed a multi-disciplinary team for investigation. The team formed according to the international protocol is led by DG AAIB. In this case both the black box and handling cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder have been recovered. CVR was recovered from the roof of the building on 13 June 2025 at the accident site. The FDR was recovered from the rubble on 16 June 2025. The standard operation process for their safe operation, storage and transport was fixed. Now AAIB has submitted its preliminary report to the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
