Jaunpur News: Two bike -riding youths died on the spot on Tuesday afternoon on the Fourlane Highway in Fattupur village in Badlapur Kotwali area, while another youth was seriously injured. After the accident, the truck driver escaped along with the vehicle. The police have taken the bodies and sent it for postmortem and have started further action.
Two bike riders died
According to the information received, Roshan Gautam, 18 -year -old son of Amarjeet Gautam, a resident of Nacharaula village in Aspur Devsara police station area of Pratapgarh district, came to Hoshila Gautam, a resident of Sahapur village in Singramau police station area on Tuesday morning. Later in the afternoon, Roshan went to Badlapur by bike with his relative Santosh Gautam (18) and neighbor Anshu Yadav (18), son Akhilesh Yadav.
While returning from Badlapur, when the three youths were overtaking a bus near the yellow river bridge, the high speed truck coming from behind hit them strongly. Santosh (resident of Sahapur) and Roshan (Nachaula resident) died on the spot in this horrific collision, while Anshu Yadav was seriously injured.
There was chaos in the family of the dead
Police reached the information and took both the bodies in possession and sent it for postmortem, while the injured youth has been admitted to the local hospital. As soon as the news of the accident was received, there was chaos in the family of the deceased. The family is in shock and a wave of mourning has run in the village. The police have registered a case and started searching for the truck and absconding driver.
