Jaunpur News: An encounter took place between the police and the criminal in the Zafarabad police station area, in which a vicious cow smuggler was injured by a bullet. The police have arrested him. A pistol, cartridge, motorcycle and cash have been recovered from him. The incident is around 12:20 pm on Friday. Zafarabad police station in -charge Vishwanath Pratap Singh was patrolling the area with his team.
Then he received information that a vicious cow smuggler is going from Hauz toll highway towards Rajepur. When the police tried to stop the suspect, he turned a motorcycle towards the farm, causing him to fall. When the police tried to catch him, he fired. He was injured by a police bullet in retaliation.
The arrested accused has been identified as Shailesh Yadav alias Dheeraj Yadav son Ramasare Yadav alias Nanhaku Yadav resident Rehti Tulpur, Thana Jalalpur, Jaunpur. He is desired in cow smuggling and serious streams in many districts. Police recovered a pistol from the spot.The injured crook has been admitted to the district hospital for treatment.
