Jhansi news: Ramkant, a resident of small village Madora Khurd, Tehsil Moth, Jhansi, has recently won the bronze medal in the National Sailing Competition held in Mumbai and illuminated the name of his village and district across the country. Ram’s father’s name Brajkishore and Grandpa’s name is Dhaniram dynasty, he participated in the Yuva National Celling Competition held in HBTC Marve in Mumbai from 3 to 10 May.
A total of 31 participants from across the country participated in this competition. 8 exciting races were held during the competition, in which Ramkant finished third in the ILCA 4 boat class. Ramakant is currently practicing regularly in Goa Navy Boys Sports Company and representing Uttar Pradesh.
Winning medals in the national level competition at the age of just 16 is a direct proof of his hard work and dedication. This achievement of Ramakant not only has an atmosphere of happiness in his family, but has also waved a wave of pride in the entire village and district. The villagers, including the village head, have wished Ramkant a bright future. Ramakant credited his success to his parents, sisters, coaches and Goa Navy Sports Company. He said that his next goal is to illuminate the name of the country in international competitions.
