Jhansi news: A tragic incident has come to light at Simradha Dam located in Sipri Bazar police station area of Jhansi, where two youths died due to drowning while making the reel. These three youths went to celebrate the party with their friends, when suddenly they drowned in the flow of water. On receiving the information, the police took both the bodies and sent it for postmortem.
Abhishek Kumar and Rishabh, residents of Khatibaba Mohalla of Premnagar police station area, along with another friend had reached the party near Simradha Dam in Sipri Bazar police station area. The youth consumed alcohol during the party. Subsequently, Abhishek and Rishabh stood along the dam and started making reel on mobile. While making the reel, both of them suddenly started drowning in the strong currents of water. When the friend with him saw this, he gave voice to the people around, but by the time the help reached, both the youths had absorbed in the water.
On receiving information about the incident, people from the neighborhood gathered and immediately informed the police. Police reached the spot and after much effort with the help of divers, took out the bodies of both the youths from the dam. The police reported the incident to the families of the deceased, who reached Simradha Dam late in the evening and identified the bodies. Later, the police took both the bodies and sent it for postmortem. This incident has once again exposed the passion and negligence of reel among the youth.
