Kasganj news: Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh: On the second Monday of the month of Shravan, there was a flood of faith at Ganga Ghat Lehra near Soronji, the famous pilgrimage site of Kasganj district. Thousands of Kanwarias from far-flung areas came to the ghat to take water to take water to the pagoda. These Kanwaris included men as well as a large number of female Kanwariyas.

Kanwar passenger Dolly Baghel, who was present on the occasion, told that a group of 11 girls with him has brought Kavad here for the first time. She wishes that she has got a job to protect the country, so she has come here. She will perform Jalabhishek at Bateshwar Dham by taking water. Another Kanwar traveler, Ravindra, told that there are 51 people with him, who have brought a vow to live in their family. With similar wishes, hundreds of Shiva devotees have reached the Lahra Ghat of Soronji, the birthplace mentioned in the Ramayana of the great saint Tulsidas ji today.

The administration has made extensive arrangements to facilitate the Kanwar Yatra. District Magistrate Megharupam has declared a weekly captive in the district on Sunday due to the Kavad Yatra, so that traffic pressure is reduced. Police personnel have been deployed at various places, and vehicles are being diverted from other routes to divert traffic so that Kanwaris do not face trouble. The entire atmosphere remains devotional with the pronunciation of “Bum Bum Bhole”, “Har Har Gange” and “Har Har Har Mahadev” at the Ganges Ghat. The enthusiasm and devotion of the Kanwari is being seen, who are coming from far and wide to worship Shiva in this holy month.
