Kushinagar News: The body of the newly married Jyoti, who was missing from the house on Monday at Khaparela Tola in Purani village of Ramkola police station area, was recovered from Khajuria Canal on Wednesday after 48 hours. The police have taken the body in possession and sent it for postmortem and the investigation of the case is going on.
Jyoti went missing after a dispute with Jethani
According to the information received, on Monday morning, Jyoti had a dispute with her Jethani about something, after which she left the house. Eyewitnesses saw him going towards the canal tracks in the west direction of the village. Some school children claimed that they had seen a woman falling into the canal, fearing that Jyoti jumped into the canal.
As soon as the incident was reported, the police reached the spot and a search operation was started with the help of local divers, but did not succeed on the first day. The SDRF team was called on Tuesday, which conducted intensive search operation for several kilometers. Jyoti’s body was eventually recovered from the canal on Wednesday.
Maike side accused of murder
After the recovery of the body, the maternal side accused the in -laws of murder. Family members say that Jyoti was constantly mentally tortured by her Jethani. Neighbors also described Jethani’s behavior as derogatory. Family members allege that Jethani often used to lock the toilet of the house, due to which Jyoti had to go towards the fields.
Married two months ago
Jyoti was married to Guddu Kushwaha of the village about two months ago, who lives outside in connection with employment. The father -in -law has already died, while the mother -in -law lives with her third son in Pilibhit. Jyoti and her Jethani lived face to face in the village. After marriage, property was also divided between the two brothers.
There were controversies earlier also
According to the villagers, there used to be often arguments between Devrani-Jethani on small things. A few days ago there was a dispute over an old bicycle and sand, on which the police of Dial 112 arrived and entered into an agreement.
Police engaged in investigating the case
The atmosphere of discussion in the village is hot after getting the body of the newlyweds. The police is investigating the case seriously and investigation is being done keeping in mind every aspect. The cause of death will be confirmed only after the post -mortem report.
