Lakhimpur kheri news: Chief Development Officer (CDO) Abhishek Kumar held a high -level review meeting with the officials concerned on Wednesday with the objective of ensuring smooth availability of fertilizer for farmers in the district. During the meeting, the CDO examined the status of the center-wise online stock and gave necessary guidelines to the officials, so that the farmers will no longer face the shortage of fertilizer.

CDO Abhishek Kumar, while presiding over the meeting, gave clear instructions that supply should be ensured on priority basis at centers where fertilizer is low. He said that distribution should be done at centers with low stocks in such a way that there is no shortage of fertilizer at any place.

He informed that on Thursday (3 July 2025), a rack of 2640 metric tons of fertilizer is being received for Lakhimpur Kheri district in Gola, which will reach the district by evening. The CDO instructed the officers to work according to the ‘deployment plan’ and make an accurate plan for distribution at every center so that the distribution of fertilizers can be done on time and systematic manner.

Get fertilizer only as required from centers

Appeal of CDO to farmers: CDO Abhishek Kumar appealed to the farmers to get manure only as per the requirement and avoid unnecessary storage. He assured that sufficient fertilizer is available in the district and there is no shortage of any kind. He advised the farmers to avoid misleading information or rumors and said that the administration is completely ready and cautious.

Assistant Commissioner and Registrar (Cooperation) Rajneesh Pratapsingh, District Agriculture Officer Surya Pratap Singh and other concerned officials were present in the meeting. Officers were instructed to increase center -wise surveillance and to maintain dialogue with farmers.
