Lakhimpur kheri news: In Lakhimpur Kheri, District Magistrate Durga Shakti Nagpal and Superintendent of Police Sankalp Sharma have issued strict instructions to make the urea distribution system well in the district to streamline and transparent. On the other hand, a new portal called ‘Panchayat Advancement Index’ has been prepared to assess the all -round development of gram panchayats in the district. Both these initiatives are important steps towards promoting good governance and development in the district.

Strictness in urea distribution: FIR and smuggling

DM Durga Shakti Nagpal and SP Sankalp Sharma held an important meeting on Thursday, which warns of strict disciplinary action and FIR on any kind of negligence or irregularity in urea distribution.

Main instructions and initiatives:

Distribution of accountants and distribution from Khatauni: All SDMs have been instructed to ensure the deployment of accountants and revenue inspectors on the societies of their region, who will monitor the distribution. The fertilizer will be distributed only by looking at the farmers so that excessive fertilizer is not allotted.

Strict eye on private vendors: FIR will be lodged by canceling the license of private vendors if found tagging or overrowing. The SDM has been instructed to check the fertilizer shops regularly and monitor the stock.

Strictness on the Indo-Nepal border: The administration has tightened the Indo-Nepal border to prevent smuggling of fertilizer. All the three battalion commanders of SSB have been instructed to keep a strict monitoring on the border and to conduct intensive checking of vehicles so that not a single sack of urea can cross the limit.

Active role of police: SP Sankalp Sharma has instructed all police officers to impose force duty on society and enter the field themselves. ADM Narendra Bahadur Singh will monitor the duty and attendance of the accountants.

Development of Gram Panchayats: ‘Panchayat Advancement Index’ will get new direction

The progress of panchayats will now be assessed in a more accurate and data-based manner. For this purpose, the ‘Panchayat Advancement Index’ portal has been launched, which aims to know the real status of Gram Panchayats and make better plans according to the needs.

The main point and purpose:

Accurate Data Feeding: CDO Abhishek Kumar has appealed to all the concerned departments to feed the Gram Panchayat level accurate and updated data on the portal. This data will be fed by verifying all aspects such as socio-economic status of gram panchayats, access to schemes and availability of basic facilities.

Planning construction and monitoring: This portal is a revolutionary initiative for knowing the real status of gram panchayats and effective monitoring of schemes. Future action plan will be prepared on the basis of data recorded on the portal and the ranking of villages will also be decided.

Awards and long -term development: DPRO Vishal Singh said that the gram panchayats which will be excellent through the index will also get “Panchayat Empowerment Award”. This initiative will form the basis of long -term development schemes for gram panchayats in future.

Workshops and Training: Regarding portal operation process, login system and verified data entry, district level officials, technical assistants, data operators and employees associated with the Panchayat Raj Department were given detailed information. The roster of workshops has also been released on the blocks.

Both these initiatives will ensure transparency and accountability in administration along with giving new pace to agriculture and rural development in Lakhimpur Kheri.
