Raebareli News: A celestial lightning continues to wreak havoc with continuous rains in the district. Two women died in two incidents of lightning in different police station areas on Monday evening, while about 40 goats also died on the spot. At the same time, a young man and a woman got scorched, who have been admitted to the hospital.
Gadaganj: Old man killed animals, 40 goats also went away
There was chaos in the entire Sanwarian Majre Payagpur of Gadaganj police station area when a 60-year-old woman Ramrati Devi wife Ramkumar Raidas died on the spot due to a sudden lightning. She went to the farm at around 5 pm to graze the goats. When the rain was strong, she stopped under a nearby tree, where about 40 goats also came and stood up.
The woman and all the goats standing together died due to sudden lightning fall. The dead goats include 10 goats of Dhanapati and 30 goats of Savale Jairam. There is an atmosphere of panic among the villagers since the incident.
Dalmau: Electricity, youth and women scorched while working in the field
At the same time, the second incident came to light in the entire Pasin Mazre Naraswa village of Dalmau police station area. Residents of Rajesh Kumar (39), son Dujai and Usha Devi wife Rajjan were transplanting paddy, suddenly lightning fell. Both of them got severely scorched by him. On receiving the information, villagers and village head Jitendra Patel immediately rushed both of them to Dalmau Community Health Center, where their condition has been stated after first aid.
