Patna. Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi is on a visit to Bihar today. PM Modi will give crores of crores to Bihar in a program organized in Motihari today. He will lay the foundation stone and inauguration of a total development schemes worth Rs 7204 crore. Addressing a public meeting at Gandhi Maidan in Motihari, he said, “To advance Eastern India, we have to make Bihar developed Bihar.” During this, CM Nitish Kumar was also present on the stage.
PM Modi said, ‘The power that used to be near the West, now the dominance of the East countries is increasing. Our resolve is, in the coming time, as Mumbai is in western India, similarly Motihari should also be named in the east. Just as the opportunities are in Gurugram, the same opportunity should be made in Gaya. Like Pune, there should be industrial development in Patna. To carry forward Eastern India, we have to make Bihar developed Bihar.
The Prime Minister pointed to a man present in the crowd and said, ‘Here a young man has brought the entire Ram temple. What a grand job I think they want to meet me. I tell the people of my SPG… You have to write your idea in it, brother. I will write a letter to you. Give it to the people of my SPG. You will definitely get my letter.
Addressing the public meeting, PM Modi said, ‘The land of Champaran is recorded in history. This earth inspired Gandhiji. This earth will create the future of Bihar.
Before PM Modi, CM Nitish addressed the public meeting from the stage. He said, ‘The government before 2005 did not do anything work. The condition of Bihar was earlier bad. When the BJP and JDU government was formed, it started work. We have been working for 20 years. Modi ji is doing special work for Bihar. The NDA government is doing a great job for Bihar. We are giving a lot of employment. In the next 5 years, we will give employment to 1 crore people. We have done free electricity in Bihar. Earlier there was no electricity during the RJD government. Now there is electricity and is also free. There will be no electricity money. The government will give electricity money.
Bihar will get four Vande Bharat trains
On the tour of Bihar today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give the state a gift of many important projects related to rail, road, rural development, fisheries, electronics and information technology.
PM Modi will flag off four Amrit Bharat trains, including the train running between Motihari to Anand Vihar. Apart from this, they will lay the foundation stone of doubling of Darbhanga-Narkatiaganj railway block and will dedicate the railway line doubling between Darbhanga-Thalawara and Samastipur to the nation.
