Lucknow News: In Naubasta Colony of the capital, the people of The Woods apartments locked the garbage transfer station in the capital’s Naubasta Colony. Due to this demonstration, there was a fierce debate between the employees of the Municipal Corporation LSA and the residents of the apartment. Which turned into controversy on seeing this. Police, municipal corporation and administration officials arrived on the spot to handle the situation. After this, both sides were persuaded and pacified after this high-voltage incident which lasted for about three hours.
Complaints and resentment of residents
Apartment RWA President Manoj Bahl said that the smell and dirt from the transfer station is causing serious inconvenience to the elderly, women and children. A school is located near him. Due to which the students are also adversely affected. It was said to be built here earlier, but now garbage of four wards is being collected. Local women said that due to negligence in the name of cleanliness, there is an atmosphere of insecurity in the surrounding streets. According to the apartments, no concrete action was taken despite complaining to the authorities several times. LSA employees say that the lock at the transfer station is a hindrance in government work.
Garbage vehicles queued on the roads
According to his allegations, some people from the apartment have assaulted him. Angry employees in protest against him erected a queue of garbage vehicles outside the apartment and on the streets, causing people to move. Akash Kumar, zonal officer of the municipal corporation who reached the spot, said that the problems of the people have been heard, but no one can be allowed to take the law in hand. The station was re -started by breaking the lock and the residents were warned that legal action would be taken if such an act was repeated from the future. However, after the meeting, the apartment residents were assured that the cleaning and system of the transfer station would be improved within ten days. At present, the atmosphere in the area is calm, but there is a demand for permanent solution to the problem.
