Lucknow News: BJP’s Lucknow Metropolitan President Anand Dwivedi has demanded extortion of 5 lakhs by an unknown person over the phone. When the demand was not met, he also threatened to discredit by implicating in a fake case. The caller has described himself as Deep Mani Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party.
Yashvendra Singh, a colleague of the metropolitan president, has filed a case against the threatening in Hazratganj Kotwali in this regard. According to the complaint, the threatening person has said that if he is not given the money for extortion, he will discredit Anand Dwivedi in a fake case and discredit him in the media, which will ruin his life. An FIR has been lodged in Hazratganj Kotwali on the complaint of Yashvendra Singh, assistant to Anand Dwivedi. According to the complaint, the caller said that if the money is not given, they will be maligned in the media by implicating them in a false case and their lives will be ruined.
According to Anand Dwivedi’s complaint, the threat was given from an unknown number. After receiving the threat, he has demanded security from the Lucknow police, saying that if he was not provided security at the right time, he may be untoward. In view of the seriousness of the case, the police registered a primary and initiated the identity of the accused and an attempt is being made to arrest and the mobile number and details of the caller are also being extracted.
