Lucknow News: Alaya Homes apartment in Dalibagh, posh area of Lucknow, is once again in the headlines. Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is preparing to demolish the illegal floors built in the Society. Due to which the allottees are afraid of losing their homes. The LDA passed an order for demolition against the apartment in April 2023. Now the exercise to implement has intensified. The authority has issued notice to the residents to vacate the house.

Residents are united to save houses

The residents of the Alaya Holmes Society have united against the LDA action. An important meeting was called in the society on Wednesday. Further strategy was discussed in it. The order of the residents’ plans is to challenge the order of the housing secretary in the Allahabad High Court. With this, he can save his homes. The map of the Alaya Holmes apartment at Dal Bagh was passed by the LDA for only two floors, but the builder made five floors arbitrarily.

Three floors have been declared illegal

Due to this, the above three floors have been declared illegal. The LDA ordered the demolition of illegal floors in April and August 2023. Shakti Singh, a resident of this society, filed a revision petition in the court of Housing Secretary Dr. Balkar Singh against the order. This petition was dismissed. Due to which the demolition order of LDA has become effective again. Alaya Holmes has around 35 flats, many families living. These families may have to be homeless when LDA action is taken.

Other projects of the state under investigation

Many other projects of the Yajdan Infocteer Builder, which built Alaya Holmes, have come under the purview of LDA. The builder’s apartments have also been made in Prague Narayan Road, Dali Bagh and Metropolitan Paper Mill Colony of Hazratganj. Initial investigations by LDA have revealed that in most places more floors than the maps have been sold, on which the sword of action may hang in future. The people living in the Yajdan Infoctere apartment are upset.
