Mahoba news: During treatment at the district hospital in Mahoba, a young man died under suspicious circumstances, after which there was a huge outrage among the family. The family members of the deceased created a ruckus in the hospital premises, making serious allegations of gross negligence in treatment on the doctors and staff of the hospital. This incident has once again raised questions on the functioning and facilities of government hospitals.

The deceased youth has been identified as Ashok Singh (age about 25 years), who was a resident of Umaria district and worked as a laborer in Didwara village, bordering Mahoba district. On Wednesday, Ashok suddenly caused severe stomach pain and vomiting. The family immediately rushed him to Mahoba and admitted him, where he was treated for about one and a half hours. During this time, the doctors ordered medicines worth about 1600 rupees from the family members, but there was no improvement in the condition of the young man and eventually he died.

If the doctor showed seriousness in time, Ashok’s life would have been saved

The deceased’s brother Sunil Singh alleges that the doctors did not get the proper treatment on time nor understood the seriousness of the situation. He says that if the doctor had shown seriousness in time, Ashok’s life could have been saved. He also alleged that the doctors neither gave any clear information nor feared poisoning, so that the right direction of treatment could be determined. Family members believe that the negligence of doctors became the cause of death.

After the incident, the family members created a ruckus in the hospital premises and demanded strict action against the culprits. Seeing the matter deteriorating, Dr. Pawan Aggarwal, Dr. Pawan Aggarwal, the CMS of the hospital, reached the spot and controlled the situation by assuring the family of investigation. Dr. Aggarwal said in the initial statement that the doctors did not do anything in the treatment on their behalf, but prima facie the case seems to be of poison. He clarified that the real cause of death will be clear only after the post -mortem report comes.

At present, the body has been kept in the morchary and the police have sent Panchnama and sent it for postmortem. The investigation of the entire case is going on, while the family is demanding strict action against the guilty doctors and the hospital administration, pleading for justice.
