Kushinagar News: A heartbreaking case has come to light from Ramkola police station area of the district, in which a young woman was forcibly converted and raped. The police, taking quick action, have arrested the accused youth and the woman has been recovered safely.
Case of love, deception and forced conversion
On Monday, a special team formed on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Mishra arrested Israfil Ansari son Idrish Ansari, a resident of Rampur Bhat village. In the FIR lodged by the woman’s father on 26 July, it was alleged that Israfil seduced her daughter, forcibly converted and physically exploited by pretending to marry.
The police have registered a case number 324/2025 against the accused and have initiated legal proceedings under Section 137 (B), 351 (3), 127, 318 (4), 69, 87 and Uttar Pradesh Laws under Section 3/5 (1) of the Prohibition Prohibition Prohibition Act 2021 of the Code of India Justice (BNS).
Shocking revelations in interrogation
Police interrogation revealed that the accused Israfil is already married and he deliberately implicated the girl in a false love. When the woman protested, she threatened to kill her and her family members.
During this time, the accused also changed the Aadhaar card by forcibly converting the girl. Police recovered the following material from the accused:

Strict stance from administration
The Superintendent of Police has reiterated the “zero tolerance” policy on such cases. He said that no fraud, forced conversion and sexual abuse will be tolerated with the women.
The investigation is going on further and a charge sheet is being prepared against the accused in serious sections.
