Meerut News: The Meerut Police’s campaign against vicious miscreants continues continuously. On Monday, the police station Ganganagar, in a major action, arrested the Rs 25,000 criminal Avinash alias jerk during the encounter. In an attempt to escape by firing the police, the ‘jerk’ himself was injured by being shot.
How did the encounter?
The incident happened when the Ganganagar police team was checking at Lalsana intersection. Then a suspected youth from Pallavapuram appeared on a bike. On stopping the police, he fired fatal firing and tried to escape. The police immediately fired back, in which a bullet hit her leg. The injured crook was caught on the spot.

The arrested accused has been identified as Avinash alias Jhaka resident village Bali, Thana Parikshitgarh. 315 bore pistol, a khok cartridge and a motorcycle have been recovered from him. According to the police, Avinash was wanted in the firing incident in Gangadham Colony on the night of 18 June, and in the same case a reward of Rs 25,000 was declared on him.
