Meerut News: In the name of conversion and marriage, then exploitation and threats – Ganganagar police station of Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday arrested two brothers in a similar case and revealed the case. A lawsuit has been filed against the two accused arrested under serious sections under the Provisional Prohibition Act against the Uttar Pradesh Law.
The police station Ganganagar police has got a big success under the direction of Superintendent of Police and Jurisdiction Sadar Dehat under the ongoing crime control campaign on the orders of Senior Superintendent of Police. On June 17, under the case No. 119/25, accused Nadeem alias Rohit and his brother Zubair son Pappu alias Mohammad Fazil, resident Mohalla Tomb Diggi, Thana Railroad, Meerut were arrested from Mawana Road.
According to the victim, the accused Nadeem hid her identity and married her and then exploited her mental, physical and financially. The victim alleges that the accused took ₹ 35,000 in the name of preparing fake divorce papers and when she protested, she was abused and threatened to kill her. The role of Zubair, the brother of the accused in the case, was also found suspicious.
The arrested accused are being produced in the court under the concerned sections – 85/74/318 (4)/115 (2)/352/351 (3) BNS and 3/5 (1) Religion Compression Act.
The arrest team included:
Inspector -in -charge Anoop Kumar Singh, Sub -Inspector Lalaram Sharma, Head Constable Sunil Kumar and Constable Gaurav Kumar. This action of the police has once again sent a message in the area that strict action will be taken in cases like religious deceit and women exploitation.
