More than two lakh devotees visited Baba Barfani in 11 days in Amarnath Yatra


Srinagar . In 11 days in Amarnath Yatra (in 11 days during Amarnath Yatra), more than two lakh devotees (more than two lakh devotees) saw Baba Barfani (Visited Baba Barfani). The yatra is taking place after the Pahalgam attack, in which 26 civilians were killed by Pakistan -backed terrorists.

180 additional CAPF companies have been brought to the current strength of Army, BSF, CRPF, SSB and local police. People using Pahalgam route reach the cave temple via Chandanwadi, Sheshnag and Panchatarni and travel 46 km. It takes pilgrims four days to reach the cave temple. At the same time, those using the small Baltal road have to travel 14 kilometers to reach the cave temple and after completing the journey, have to return the base camp on the same day. No helicopter service is available for passengers this year due to security reasons.

The Amarnath Yatra began on 3 July and will end on 9 August after 38 days, which is the day of Shravan Purnima and Raksha Bandhan. Shri Amarnath ji Yatra is one of the most sacred religious pilgrimage for devotees, because legend is that Lord Shiva told Goddess Parvati inside this cave to tell the secrets of eternal life and immortality.
