Bhopal. Minister Sampatiya Uikey has given clarification on serious allegations of taking bribe of Rs 1000 crore associated with Jal Jeevan Mission. Minister Uike said that I am serving the public. The Chief Minister will give my answer in this matter. I am being tortured unnecessarily. Our government is a corruption -free government and if any complaint comes against anyone, then it is definitely investigated. Minister Uike said that she will also raise the issue in a cabinet meeting and will give a press conference and answer each question.
In fact, Madhya Pradesh Tribal Minister Sampatiya Uike has been facing serious allegations of taking bribe of Rs 1000 crore related to the water life mission. These allegations have been made by former MLA Kishore Samarite, after which the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has sought a report from the state government. After this, the Madhya Pradesh government itself has started an investigation against its minister. Now PHE department officials are preparing reports of the entire case.
These serious allegations have been revealed by a letter sent by former MLA Kishore Samarite to the PM. In this complaint sent on April 12, it has been said that the minister has recovered a commission of one thousand crores from the mission. In the complaint, the then chief engineer BK Sonagaria and his accountant Mahendra Khare have been accused of bribery of crores of rupees. Also, the Executive Engineer in Betul accused of extracting Rs 150 crore without any work. Similar irregularities in Chidwara and Balaghat. Chief Engineer (Mechanical) accused of releasing funds without work in 2200 tenders. And claim to send 7000 fake work perfection certificates to the central government.
