Aligarh news: The political stir has intensified due to the attack on the procession in Kajimabad village of Atrauli police station area. On Saturday, senior Samajwadi Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Ramjilal Suman reached the spot and met the victim’s family and assured justice. Describing the incident as unfortunate, he launched a scathing attack on the Yogi government.
A young man’s procession from Khurja reached Kajimabad village in Atrauli on Thursday night. It is being told that the groom’s car involved in the procession collided marginally with a child in the village, which provoked some people of the village’s Dabangg Lodhe society. He first beat the driver of the car and then attacked the groom. Along with the assault, the talk of looting has also come to light. Due to this incident, the atmosphere of the procession turned into panic and the baraatis had to run away after saving their lives.
MP Ramjilal Suman inquired about the entire incident
On receiving the information of the incident, MP Ramjilal Suman reached Atrauli and met the victim side and inquired about the whole incident. He said that this is not just a caste attack, but a sign of social conflict. He further said that this was not the era of Baba Adam, the youth of the new generation are no longer ready to live in an atmosphere of old mentality and injustice. There is now a hunger for respect in every category and there is a need to protect the society from this conflict.
SP MP Ramjilal Suman said that there is a need to change the thinking and mindset of the society. We are living in the 21st century and everyone has the right to live with respect. He also appealed to the Lodhe society to maintain harmony and work at discretion. Attacking the state government, he said that today attacks on Dalits and minorities are becoming common in Uttar Pradesh. No effective action is being taken by the government, it has become a government of people of criminal tendency. The Yogi government has neither Iqbal nor fear, only then such people are showing the law cheating.
The MP demanded strict action against the culprits from the administration and warned that if justice is not received soon, they would struggle from the road to Parliament. This incident has once again exposed the issue of ethnic stress and social inequality. There is still an atmosphere of fear among the villagers, while the administration is investigating the matter.
