Mumbai: The Supreme Court on July 24 banned the decision to acquit all the 12 accused in the 2006 Mumbai train blast case. The Bombay High Court had ruled to acquit. The Maharashtra government challenged the Bombay High Court verdict. On this, SP MLA Abu Azmi said that all the accused were Muslims, so the government challenged the decision in the court.
The SP MLA said that he was in jail for 19 years. The lower court sentenced five people to death and seven people were sentenced to life imprisonment. Speaking to news agency ANI in Mumbai, he said that justice is still left, the High Court gave a verdict. We were very happy about this. Now these people have gone to the Supreme Court, but what is the heat to the Sanch?
Along with this, he said- they were Muslims, not therefore it was very early to go to the Supreme Court. Go to the Supreme Court, a very good thing is to reveal the truth. If there is a culprit, then he should be punished. But I will tell the CM that once you listen to the story of these accused. I will also demand that make a film ‘Mumbai serial blast file’ and show the truth.
Abu Azmi further said, “I know this case.
Along with this, he said, “The Imam Saheb of Haj House of Mumbai was caught. Innocent came out innocent. Innocents were caught in Malegaon blast… They all came out innocent. A Mufti Saheb was caught in Ahmedabad. He was inside. The court said that the lower court said hanging, the high court said hanging, the Supreme Court says it is innocent.” Let us know that more than 180 people died in seven blasts on 11 July 2006 at different places in Mumbai’s local train.
