Muzaffarnagar news: The district administration and police administration are fully ready in view of the upcoming Kavad Yatra in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh. Both departments are busy preparing for the Kavad fair to be done safely. Extensive arrangements are being made for security arrangements and traffic management so that the Kavad Yatra can be completed smoothly. Regarding this, Muzaffarnagar police have sent notices to about 1200 miscreants to bind down under Section 126,135 BNS.

During the Kavad fair, crores of Shiva devotees from Haridwar fill Ganga water and leave for various districts of Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh via Muzaffarnagar. During this time, camps are set up by district administration and social organizations on the Kandar road of the district. However, vehicle thieves and mobile thief gangs become active in these camps, due to which the police get information about mobile and vehicle theft. In view of this, Muzaffarnagar police have issued notices to 1200 such miscreants who are active in mobile and vehicle theft incidents.

Motorcycle and mobile theft

SP City Satyanarayana Prajapat said that the incidents of motorcycles and mobile theft often increase during the Kavad Yatra. In view of this, the police have earlier taken action to bind down 1200 miscreants involved in the crime of mobile and vehicle theft under the provisions of BNS. The police issued notice to these criminals and filled the bonds to maintain peace from them. Apart from this, the police have also decided to install CCTV cameras at Kavad camps and deploy additional police forces.

Extensive arrangements will be made for the safety of Kavad camps. CCTV cameras have been installed at all camps and additional police forces will be deployed so that no incident can happen. So far, notices have been given to about 1200 people and have been bound down under sections 126 and 135 of the Indian Justice Code (BNS). In addition, a history sheet of active criminals has been opened and is being monitored. Professional gangs are already being processed under the Gangster Act. The police administration is fully ready to reduce the incidents of theft in Muzaffarnagar district and extensive security arrangements have been made.
