Extremely beneficial for passengers of Bengaluru
Addressing the gathering through video conferencing on the occasion, Union Minister of Railways, Information and Broadcasting and Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnav, while wishing everyone, said that “This train service will prove to be extremely beneficial for large parts of Madhya Pradesh including Gwalior, Guna, Shivpuri, Bhopal, from where a large number of travelers travel to Bengaluru.”
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, unprecedented works have been done to strengthen the infrastructure of the railway in Madhya Pradesh. Railway projects worth Rs 24,000 crore have been sanctioned for Madhya Pradesh in the last one year, which will bring a historic change in the railway map of the state.
The program was given by Union Minister of Communications and North Eastern Region Development Jyotiraditya Scindia that this railway service going from Gwalior to Shivpuri and Guna will give the regional public widespread benefits. It will not only facilitate traffic, but will also provide new employment opportunities.
Chief Minister (MP) Dr. Mohan Yadav, in his virtual address, expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and said that “he is particularly sensitive to the development of Madhya Pradesh.” He said that both Gwalior city and station are very important strategically in the state. “On this occasion all the distinguished guests, officers and invitations were welcomed by Divisional Railway Manager, Jhansi Deepak Kumar Sinha. He appreciated the contribution of all departments and personnel for the success of the program.”
