Nitin gadkati news: Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on Saturday questioned the functioning of the government system during an event in Nagpur and termed it as ‘Nikuma’ and ‘ineffective’. He clearly said that government agencies work to stop and stuck the work of the public, which has the pace of development.
He clearly said, whether it is Nagpur Municipal Corporation, NIT or other government agencies, they all work like puncturing the moving vehicle only. They create obstacles rather than cooperating in development works.
Government system told waste
Gadkari shared his experiences and said that he has now understood how ineffective and useless the government system is. It is very difficult to get some big work out of the government. So now we have to find alternative models to work.
Free schemes do not teach responsibility
Gadkari also attacked directly on the increasing culture of free schemes in politics. He said, there is a market of focus here. Everyone wants everything for free. But until people pay, they will not be appreciated by things.
Plan to build 300 stadiums in Nagpur
Gadkari said that his plan is to build 300 multipurpose stadiums in Nagpur. But this work will be done not on the government model, but under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP). Giving an example, he said that the way a private operator managed the stadium in Dubai, the same project will be started in Nagpur. The government will give land, water and basic structure, but will conduct and maintain a private institution.
Gadkari also said that the youth who participate in the sports will be charged nominal fees, so that they will get responsibility and they do not misuse the facilities. Free service is never respected. When people pay money, they take things seriously.
