GSSSB Recruitment 2025:- Gujarat Secondary Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has started the recruitment process for class-3 posts in various departments. Under the recruitment notification issued by Gujarat Secondary Service Selection Board (GSSSB), a total of five types of class-3 posts have been recruited, including the posts of Senior Sub-Adatter, Information Assistant, Surveyor, Planning Assistant and Junior Scientific Assistant. A total of 150 vacancies have been announced in this recruitment.
The educational qualifications required for these posts have been determined separately according to the posts. For example, a graduate/masters or PG diploma in Journalism or Mass Communication is required for Senior Sub-Editor and Information Assistant. At the same time, only Diploma in Civil Engineering is valid for the post of surveyor and graduate degree holders will not be eligible for this post. Architecture, Planning or Bachelor’s degree in Civil is required for Planning Assistant and a degree in science subjects for junior scientific assistant is required. Along with this, computer knowledge and adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi language have been made compulsory for all these posts.
Apart from this, under this recruitment, the minimum age for all posts has been fixed at 18 years, but according to the maximum age posts, 33, 35 or 37 years have been kept. In which additional discounts will be provided to the reserved category candidates.

GSSSB Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The recruitment process of these class-3 posts released by Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) will be done completely on merit basis. A written examination will be conducted first to prepare a merit list by GSSSB. This written examination will be completely based on multiple choice questions, in which candidates will be asked general knowledge, subject related knowledge, logic, mathematical capacity and questions related to computer knowledge.
After this, a merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in this written examination by GSSSB. Whatever the highest marks in this merit list will be finalized after verification of documents.
