UP-Fuel -price-update-18-June-2025: There was a stir in the petrol and diesel markets of Uttar Pradesh. In many districts, fuel prices increased, then there was relief in some areas. Prices remained absolutely stable in some districts. The highest increase in petrol was recorded in Bareilly (+₹ 0.69), Rampur (+₹ 0.56) and Ballia (+₹ 0.51), while Lakhimpur (-₹ 0.71), Ghaziabad (-₹ 0.45) and Sonbhadra (-0.41) were the biggest decline. Diesel also led to the fastest lead in Bareilly (+₹ 0.78) and Rampur (+₹ 0.62), while Saharanpur (-₹ 0.64) and Lakhimpur (-₹ 0.67) recorded the biggest decline. This ups and downs have made a direct impact on the pockets of the general public. This change in major cities of the state is also causing concern about inflation.
