Chandauli News: The Chandauli police has got a major success under the “Operation Convision” being run aimed at punishing crime control and punishment for criminals in Uttar Pradesh. In this campaign being run as directed by the Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, the district police has punished the culprits in an old case through scientific deliberations, infallible evidence compilations and effective advocates of Public Prosecutor. Court Presiding Officer Kunwar Jitendra Pratap Singh, who is working in Judicial Magistrate Chakia, Chandauli, has punished two accused in a 20 -year -old case with a period (58 days) and a fine of Rs 2000 in a 20 -year -old case. The court has also clarified that if the accused do not pay the fine, they will have to suffer an additional imprisonment of 03 days.

Description of a decade -old case of police station Chakia

The case was registered under sections 323, 325 and 504 of the Indian Penal Legislation on 23 July 2003 in police station Chakia. In this case, Meghnath son Ramji, resident Lathiakala, Thana Chakia, district Chandauli and Juut son Ramji, who are residents of the same village, were accused. Initially it was recorded as the NCR number 90/2003, which was later rejected in crime number 43/2004.

Effective lobbying and evidence punished

In this old and complex case, the monitoring cell in -charge of Akash Tripathi, Mr. Vipin Bihari Yadav (PO) and police station Chakia’s advocate played an important role in punishing the culprits. As a result of his effective lobbying and strong evidence presented, the court convicted both the accused on 9 June 2025.

Judicial Magistrate Mr. Kunwar Jitendra Pratap Singh sentenced the accused 1. Meghnath son Ramji and 2. Jiut son Ramji to the period spent in jail. In addition, both have also been imposed a fine of Rs 3000-3000. According to the court order, if they fail to pay the penalty, they will have to suffer additional imprisonment of 03-03 days.

This decision has proved to the working style of Chandauli police under “Operation Convision” and the commitment to bring criminals into the dock of justice once again. The joint efforts of the police and public prosecutor are getting justice and the criminals are getting fresh.
